963 Hz is the ninth and highest solfeggio tone, one of the three added to extend the original six. As a pitch it sits near B5: thin, bright and close to crystalline. It is also, by a wide margin, the frequency people ask us about most, because it features in our most watched videos. In Mindael it is generated at exactly 963 Hz.
What it is used for
The tradition pairs 963 Hz with awareness and a sense of oneness, the top of the ladder. In practice it is a tone for the lightest moments of a routine: the last few minutes of a meditation, a quiet morning before the day starts, a breath-based practice where you want the room to feel open rather than warm. It is the opposite of a sleep tone, and we do not suggest it for relaxation on its own.
